Dewayne was born and raised in Galveston, Texas where he began work career as a tour guide for the renowned Ashton Villa Museum. (Dewayne and Harold worked together and became life-long friends out of that experience.)
In his early employment, he worked for several popular caterers in town. These relationships later became invaluable as Dewayne moved into his role as Special Events Manager of an Historic Landmark in downtown Houston, The Magnolia Ballroom. He has since widened his scope to include a greater variety of venues, thus being available to a wider clientèle.
He has personally overseen 2,500+ events and wedding ceremonies. Over 200,000 guests have benefited from Dewayne’s highly polished coordinating style.
He oversees countless holiday events & numerous celebrations for Melange Catering. Dewayne is gifted in his field, as he combines his attention to details with his intuitions and creative flair to insure your event is spectacular!

I’ve participated in several events that Dewayne produced, he does a first class job!
A few years back Dewayne helped this novice in catering a very large party. I gave him my budget and he did the rest. It was a memoriable event, all who attended said it looked and tasted like a million bucks. We all were very impressed. It was the first time I actually enjoyed my own party. With Dewayne you have nothing to worry about except what to wear. I have never forgotten him or that event.
